May - June | A couple of crazy months

For those who follow my Instagram (@katie.liz.scott), you may have noticed a lot is going on!  It has been a crazy time for my family including a wedding, two birthdays and even a college graduation. Although the chaos seems be overwhelming at times and giving up seems much easier, it has been amazing to spend time with our family and meet new friends.

The downturn: no time for finding the perfect job, lack of training for this half-marathon in October and trying to fit in networking opportunities as I pursue my career.

One woman who reminds myself that life is about balance and who I admire most, is my mother. Raising three daughters, juggling time and energy has been nothing more than a grand balancing act. Even while fighting some virus this past spring, she found strength to coordinate and assist my younger sister with her wedding. A week later? My youngest sister turns 22 and not 2 weeks after that, graduates from college. All in between, my mom tries to handle everything that comes at her with grace and class.

With focus being so much on myself and my sisters these past few months, I wanted to write A BIG THANK YOU to my mom. Your work-ethic, support and advice are always appreciated. Your patience and grace are something that I hope to one day acquire.

Happy Birthday! We appreciate and love you more than you know!
